Bwenieve Tickets
From sign-up to payout
Everything an organizer does on Bwenieve Tickets, step by step.
1. Sign up your organization
Sign in with your Bwenieve account and open Sell tickets → Sign up your organization.
Give the organization's name, type, town, a short description and a contact person, and accept the Organizer Terms.
Bwenieve reviews new organizers once (it may call you). You can set everything up while you wait; you can publish once approved.
2. Create your event
On My events, press New event: name, start and end time (East Africa Time), venue, address, description and web address (bwenieve.com/tickets/your-event).
Change the details any time on the Event tab. A published event keeps its web address.
3. Tickets
On Ticketing → Public tickets, add ticket types: free or a price in KES, how many are available, how many one phone may buy (up to 100), and when sales close.
Write your refund policy (or keep the standard one). Buyers accept it, with the Ticket Terms, before paying.
Invite guests with complimentary passes under Guests.
4. Vendors (optional)
On Vendors, add packages (name, exhibitor or food, price, spaces). Applicants apply on your vendor page; approve them and they pay by M-Pesa or card from their link.
Share the vendor poster, or upload your own designs.
5. Volunteers (optional)
Choose teams and limits, approve applicants, and send updates on WhatsApp.
6. Publish and share
On the Event tab, press Publish. Share the event link, your posters and the QR code on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
7. At the door
Open Check-in on any phone and scan each ticket's QR code. Each ticket admits once; refunded tickets are refused.
8. Sales, refunds and payouts
Sales shows every order, Bwenieve's 5% and your share. Refund an unused paid ticket from Sales; the buyer gets the price back and the ticket stops working.
The organization owner opens Payouts, adds their legal name, KRA PIN and M-Pesa number once, and withdraws (minimum KES 500) 48 hours after the event.
